The Key is designed to be a "step down" version of Phase Five's Matrix. The Key's shape is an inch shorter than the Matrix on each offered size. The nub-shaped nose and tail shortens the overall length, allowing for faster spins, while offering improved release characteristics. This wakesurfer carries a lot of speed through transitions during trick combinations thanks to its thin and poppy 5/8" core and single-to-double concave bottom and V-spline tail.
